ground black pepper 1 t

serrano ham 1 t

- Peel and chunk pumpkin and carrots.
- Peel, wash and chunk potatoes.
- Heat 6 tablespoons of olive oil in a pot. When warm, add pumpkin, carrots, potatoes, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook and stir for 3 - 4 minutes over medium heat.
- Add enough water to cover pumpkin, carrots and potatoes (2 - 2,5 cups) and bring the pot to a boil.
- Simmer for 20 - 22 minutes or 6 - 7 if using a pressure pot.
- Add 1/2 cup of cream or milk and use the blender to make a pureed soup.
