Spanish Pork Shoulder Steaks Recipe
Description
The Spanish pork shoulder steaks or Presa Ibérica is the tenderest cut of the acorn fed black Iberian pork or Pata Negra. Discover this delicious and melt in your mouth Tapas recipe with grilled pork shoulder steaks and vegetables.
Ingredients

green bell pepper 1
red bell pepper 1
onion (medium) 3 T
olive oil 1⁄2 t
salt 1 lb
pork shoulder steaks (thick) 1⁄4 t
rosemary 1⁄4 t
thyme 1⁄2 t
saltInstructions
- Wash and remove seed from peppers.
- Peel onion.
- Julienne onion and peppers.
- Place 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet. Heat and add the vegetables and some salt when warm. Stir-fry over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Set vegetables aside.
- Season pork shoulder steaks and sprinkle some rosemary and thyme.
- Grill over high heat for 2 - 3 minutes each side (depending on the thickness).

Notes
- Presa Ibérica or shoulder steak is an extremely tender cut of the pork (See prime cuts of the pork image).
- black Iberian pork or Pata Negra is not easy to buy outside Spain but there are some Gourmet stores that usually have. Otherwise you can cook this recipe with any pork shoulder steaks.
