Beef Tenderloin Recipe With Red Wine Sauce Ingredients: 1 c red wine 3 1/2 oz white sugar 1/4 t rosemary 1/4 t thyme 1/2 c cream 1 onion 3 T olive oil 1/4 t salt 2 lb beef tenderloin 1 T cooking salt Instructions: FOR THE HOMEMADE RED WINE SAUCE:  1. Heat 1 cup of red wine and 3.5 ounces of white sugar in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until it is reduced by half approximately (14 - 16 min.). 2. Add a pinch of thyme, rosemary and 1/2 cup of cream. Stir continuously over low heat (not let the sauce boil) until the sauce is homogeneous (4 - 6 min.). 3. Remove from heat and keep warm. FOR BEEF TENDORLOIN:  1. Peel and julienne 1 onion. 2. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet. When warm add onion and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and cook over low heat for 6 - 8 min. 3.
